Membership can be gained by joining one of the affiliated clubs of the Tepon Equestrian Club which are the Herberton Horse Sport or the Far North Endurance Riders To obtain membership contact:

Any person wishing to run a seminar or a clinic for their club and are not members can do so by applying to the Tepon Equestrian Club. Contact Jannie Smit on 07 40963119 or email for enquiries. If you are not a member you are not covered by insurance. Please check with Jannie before using any part of the grounds. You should have your own club insurance, a copy of the policy and your completed indemnity form to accompany your booking.
If you are a member of one of our affiliated clubs but like to use the Grounds to earn an income by holding a clinic of instruct students you will have to hire the Grounds.

Cleaning:
The Grounds and facilities must be returned to the condition prior to hiring. The Tepon Equestrian Club offers a cleaner for the Club House and Amenities for an additional $50.00 if required. The cleaning of the Grounds is the responsibility of the hirer. All rubbish needs to be taken away by the hirer.
Booking a date:
For booking dates 2 month or longer ahead of the actual hire date, a 50% non-refundable fee is charged to secure your booking. The remaining 50% plus a $200 bond will have to be paid one month ahead the actual hire date.
For bookings less than 2 months before the actual hire date the full amount plus a $200.00 bond is required for any booking (which still includes a 50% non-refundable fee).
The $200 bond will be returned by cheque after inspection. The inspection will be done in the days after the last day of hire and before the Grounds will get used by others.
A copy of the public liability insurance of the club or person hiring the grounds will be required. The hirer will also be required to sign an indemnity form.
